Terms of Service

These terms apply to the matrimonial matchmaking and related services provided by Sharma Rishte Matrimonial Services from Kallu Di Hatti, Bypass Chowk, Palampur, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh 176061, and to the use of this website.

1. What we provide

We provide introductions between families seeking a marriage alliance, together with kundali milan, family background enquiry and, where requested, muhurat selection and priestly services. We are a matchmaking service. We are not a party to any marriage, engagement or agreement between two families.

2. Registration

• Registration is a one-time fee of ₹1,100, payable in cash, by UPI or by bank transfer. A receipt is issued for every payment.
• Registration is only open to persons of legal marriageable age under Indian law.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us. We record what you tell us; we cannot verify what we are not told.
• We may decline or withdraw a registration where information is found to be false, where conduct is inappropriate towards another family, or where we are unable to assist.

3. What we do not promise

• We do not guarantee that a match will be found, or found within any particular period. We will give you an honest assessment of the difficulty of your requirement at the outset.
• We do not guarantee the outcome of any introduction, engagement or marriage.
• Kundali milan and astrological analysis are provided in accordance with traditional Vedic practice, as guidance. They are not a prediction, a warranty, or a substitute for your own judgement.

4. Your own due diligence

We verify family background through local enquiry to the best of our ability, and we tell you honestly what we find. This does not replace your own checks. Before finalising any alliance you should independently satisfy yourself as to identity, marital status, employment, health and any other matter important to your family.

5. Privacy and sharing

Profile details are shared with another family only for a specific proposal and only with your agreement. Contact details are exchanged only once both families agree. See our Privacy Policy for the full position.

6. Payments

• The registration fee is payable to Sharma Rishte Matrimonial Services only. Never pay any amount to a person claiming to represent us without confirming on +91 98058 93421 first.
• Any completion amount is discussed and mutually agreed after a rishta is finalised. It is not fixed in advance and is not payable unless agreed.
• We never collect money on behalf of another family, and no payment of any kind should be made to another family through us.

7. Conduct

Information about another family shared with you for the purpose of a proposal is given in confidence. It must not be forwarded, published, posted online or used for any other purpose. Misuse will end the registration immediately.

8. Website use

The content of this website — text, illustrations and structure — is the property of Sharma Rishte Matrimonial Services and may not be copied for commercial use. Articles on this website are general guidance and are not personal astrological or legal advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the service is limited to the fees you have paid to us. We are not liable for the conduct of any other family, for decisions you take following an introduction, or for outcomes after a marriage.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Palampur, Himachal Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.
