How finding a rishta actually works here
No app, no login, no profile for you to build. One phone call starts it, and one person carries it through.
The process in one paragraph
You call, WhatsApp or visit Sharma Ji at the office in Palampur and describe what your family is looking for. He records the profile and the birth details himself and completes registration at a one-time ₹1,100. He then searches his own register and his network of families across the Kangra valley by hand. Before any proposal reaches you, the kundali is matched and the family background is checked. If you are interested, both families are introduced — contact details are shared only after both sides agree.

Ashtakoot Guna Milan, Manglik, Nadi and Bhakoot are read first. You are told the score and what it means in plain language — before anyone's time is spent.

Contact is shared only after both families say yes. Sharma Ji stays available through the meetings, and can perform the vivah sanskar itself if you wish.

Before you come
What to bring to the first sitting
- Exact date, time and place of birth (for the kundali)
- Education and current work details
- Family details — parents, siblings, native village or town
- A recent photograph
- Community and any preferences on community
- A clear idea of what your family is looking for
- Government photo ID, for verification
No birth time? Say so. Guna milan is based on the Moon’s nakshatra, which usually still works with an approximate time — Sharma Ji will tell you what can and cannot be read reliably.
What we do not do
Just as important
- We do not publish any profile, photograph or phone number on this website or anywhere online.
- We do not share your details with a family until you have said yes to that specific proposal.
- We do not sell data, and we do not pass contacts to other agents or bureaus.
- We do not take money on behalf of the other family, ever. If anyone asks you to, call us immediately.
- We do not promise a timeline we cannot keep.
